Ok. First off.... This book was great! Just like her others! Reading this book you felt like you were the one with a cut thigh or no pinky fingernail... What? You will have to read it to understand. However, every turn of the pages makes you feel like you are there. The way everything is described, just puts you there. The things that came out in this book... Let me just say my mouth fell open a few times. I couldn't believe the twist of things. This gook grabbed me by my shirt collar and did not let me go till the last page and even then I wanted more. I hated that it ended. There are shocking revaluations in this book I would have never guessed. I mean like wow did she really just do that?! Or that explains a lot. I hate to give a book away because then what's the point of reading it if someone is giving it away. But I will say...you will never guess the things that transpired in this book unless you read it with your own eyes! It is truly a work of art! I recommend this book to everyone! I loved it! So go read it and enjoy!Product details

Isabel and Fritz really got into I wonder what is Bill really is now anyway I wonder how to go let's see dstron on this information we'll have to see what the future holds and the rest of the series
As with all the novels in this series I enjoyed reading this novel. Chock full of witches, paranormal and mayhem. SM Reine can capture your attention and hold it throughout the novel. I love to see what the OPA has cooked up for our agengs. A real page turner this novel is. You won`t be disappointed with this paranormal series. Can`t wait to reax the next novel
Sara, another awesome job!! I have read literally, everything this woman has written and am never let down! Her writing style and character development talents hook you in and keep you there!
A quick read that sheds much light on the back story of two awesome supporting players. Make sure you are all caught up on the tales of Super Secret Witch Cop Cesar Hawke before reading this one (unless you like spoilers). This story has nearly everything I love about a Reine read (except the Witch Cop) and it is a perfect way to kill an hour or so. While short in page, Reine makes up for it with her signature stellar style. Highly entertaining.
Isobel is in trouble. Her body is dying and she is running out of time to find a way to refuse the effects. This is when she finally allows her husband Fritz to finally help her. The worst part of it all, if she could only remember the details about the contract she signed she could probably help herself. Fritz takes her to hell to beg the higher powers for help undoing this contract from hell. The worst part of it all, escaping the binds of her contract will bring back all the memories she had blissfully forgotten of her previous life and the terrible things she did.
I downloaded this book as soon as it was out as there was a delay in getting my ARC, that shows how much I love this series.
This novella focuses on Isobel and finding out if there is anything that can be done to reverse to process of her decaying until she is once again dead as well as slowly unraveling who she really was prior to being Isobel Stonecrow. Finally the secret between Isobel and Fritz is also revealed and WOW did not see that coming.
The pace is great and as always the writing is so well done you really do feel you are there with them.I highly recommend you try all of SM Reine's books as you will not be disappointed! )

I like these books because they are fast reads, entertaining, and not too absorbing that you get too caught up in them. I don't have a lot of time while I'm in law school, so if they were really riveting and delicious, as say the ascension and descent series are, they would be too distracting for me. But because they are a little more basic, less developed relationships and characters, they are good to pick up for fifteen minutes, enjoy, and then be able to put down again. Perfect for what I need right now. Additionally, they are quick enough reads, that I still feel like I am getting through at least some personal reading unrelated to school.
